Ancient Egyptians worshiped over 2000 gods. Gods looked like humans some animal hybrid. Some where even pharaohs but all somehow where different from people. People prayed to the temples for what they wanted. But if they did not get their bidding they will give the temple a whack with a reed. Some were built on the Nile river. The prayer did not reach the temple god but the god you wanted to reach.

Women in Ancient Egypt had many rights. They had a lot of input in their personal life. They could refuse marriage by anybody. Most where 12 to 14 when accepting marriage. Women brought some sort of dowry which is land or animals. Her vow was to be a good mother and parent. She would work outside the home and even own a business. She could even be divorced and gain custody of the kids. Men asked for a divorce but the woman got everything.

Their houses were built with mud and straw. They invented molds to make bricks. But these bricks were sundried. The Ancient Egyptians ate with their fingers. A water bowl was given to each person at the table. They used it constantly throughout the meal. It was normally boiled before used. During a meal they used bread to scoop food. They did not use a napkin.
Temples were used for community activities. Women came everyday with offerings such as goods and foods. They normally socialized. School was held in temples, and worshipped gods and goddesses. They were very busy places.
Ancient Egyptians were hunters and they gathered food. No one went hungry in Ancient Egypt. Food was roasted, baked, boiled, fried and blended. They had a lot of fresh to keep them healthy thanks to the Nile. Ancient Egyptians loved to eat garlic. They also ate greens, lentils, figs, dates, onions, fish, birds, eggs, cheese and butter. The staple foods were bread and beer.
Ancient Egyptians had many jobs such as scribes, artists and other inherited jobs like a farmer. Scribes were trained in scribe school. Artists were talented. And other inherited jobs which were often passed on as farmers. Many people who went to scribe school often did not pass. But if you were an artist and talented you would have a great time. Inherited jobs like farming you would have more space for crops.
